Performing Arts 

At East Oxford, we place a high priority on the Performing Arts, including Music, Drama and Dance.

We do this because we believe that this gives children a confidence which they can then apply to different areas of their learning, as well as developing their speaking and listening skills.

All of our children learn to play a brass instrument in Years 4 & 5, and our children have sung everywhere from the local Tesco to the Sheldonian.

We have dance clubs, a street dance squad, and enter national competitions each year.

Every year, our Year 6s hire out a local theatre, and stage a high quality musical production, which recently have included "Into the Woods", "Honk!" and "Annie."
